Tow Chain Covers
Prevent Wildfires
If you tow a trailer and don’t have your chains protected, the potential for a wildfire is real.
Redding Breakfast Lions Club started a program working with the fire departments in California to obtain their used hoses. Recycling the fire hoses the departments can no longer use due to testing of the hose after a fire. Now the Lions are turning them into fire prevention tow chain covers.
The tow chain covers come in a pack of two and are free to the public. Protecting your chains to keep them from dropping down and causing a spark that could result in a wildfire is your responsibility if you tow a trailer. These covers protect your chains. I know everyone takes precautions when attaching chains to a trailer, but sometimes it is not fail proof. Add chain covers for peace of mind.
