Merriest Of Christmases to All of our Lion Members

I would like to bring you up to date about an exciting event “Our” club provided for the students of Sycamore School. On Monday, December 14th, “Our” club put together little gift bags to the 201 students of Sycamore School. Lion Melanie, her sister and I put these bags together after Lion Melanie purchased the items, placed “Our” sticker on the bags and presented them to the principal of Sycamore School. The principal was so pleased and touched that “Our” club would do such an act of kindness for her students. Needless to say the students were very disappointed that the Christmas Store had to be cancelled this year but “Our” club came through and helped make their Christmas a little merrier. I have posted just a sample of the many thank you notes the students wrote giving thanks for what “Our” club provided for them. Included with the notes is a poster and a very large thank you card.

At this time I would like to thank Lion Melanie and Lion Ava who have been working really hard behind the scenes helping to keep “Our” club moving forward these past six months during these very rough times for everyone. I’m not sure if members realize how much stuff still has to be taken care of even though we don’t meet weekly. These two Lion members deserve a huge shout out for all of their work.

Lastly, I would like to wish every one of you, your spouses and families a wonderful Christmas and a better New Year as we approach the year 2021.
