Kohl’s and Redding Breakfast Lions Club 2017 participation in
Back to School Shopping Spree

Redding Breakfast Lions Club member’s Clay Clifton, Guy Piche’, Jeff Silva, Jim & Judy Reimer, Ernie Mandere, Charlie Duncan, Egon Harrasser, Doyle Fry, Ron & Janet Mino and Norm & Kay Overbay presented on behalf of the Redding Breakfast Lions Club a check to Northern Valley Catholic Social Services for $2500 to help purchase clothes for Kohl’s Back to School Shopping Spree. Meghan accepted the check for NVCSS.

Each Lion teamed up with a school child to help shop for school clothes with a $150 limit. Many of us that exceeded the maximum amount paid for the difference out our own pocket.

Some kids where challenging in trying to keep them focused on buying school clothes instead of toys or candy.

We were thanked by Meghan and NVCSS staff at the end for our help shopping with the kids.
