Good Citizenship Awards

 

Last week we took over the Redding Breakfast Lions Club “Good Citizenship” Awards and key chains, to Sycamore School.

 

Due to the virus we couldn’t present them to the students.

 

They will be given to the students on the last day of school which is June 4th.

 

The following students receiving these awards are:

 

Students of / Jacqueline Exley:

4th Grade boy- 

Caiden Dorman – Leadership, he is a strong leader of this group. 

4th Grade girl –

Mary Jane Taylor – Perseverance through hardships

 

Dual Immersion student / Shannon Shelburne:

4th grade good citizenship award: Gigi Nava

 

5th grade students of / Michelle Henderson:

Octavio Herrera-Estrada

For being someone that can be counted on by others.

Angelina Logaspy

For being caring, forgiving, and accepting to all.

 

Congratulations to all these deserving students.

  • I am happy our club is still here for Sycamore, even though we are at social distancing.

    • Yes, we need to keep in contact. One day maybe we will be back doing the Santa Shop with them. I decided to send them an email a few weeks ago and see if they wanted to award some of the kids. They were delighted.
