BBQ 2020

Well Doyle was right. It was the best chicken I have ever tasted.
After many years of having an Annual Crab Feed and yet still wanting to gather together socially the decision to have a barbecue was a great idea. The best part it was less hours on the members that so graciously put it altogether for us. Arrange it, pay for it, and clean up. Less trouble than a crab feed. This is not to make light of those that did the work of putting it all together for us chums that paid our fee and showed up.
Moseley provided the space, served the wine, and over seen the venue. Odell Craft BBQ provided the food, which by the way was fabulous. Okay, I wasn’t paying attention… did they provide the desserts? Lots of desserts to pick from. I had the blueberry pie and snagged a piece of chocolate pie. Yes, we all need a little chocolate!
Lots of raffle prizes. Still don’t know what Ava’s was, but she loved the Art Deco or that is what I will reference it as. Congratulations to the money winners also.
Great music by Bob and Andy from Off-the-Charts. Love their choice of music. Hopefully we can have them at our future events.
Got to witness some awesome dance moves by Norm. I think he gets the trophy for the night.
Moseley Family Cellars has an awesome place for parties in their Barrel Room. Enjoyed their white wine, not sure which one it was. Gary picked it and I drank it. Not a wine snob, so couldn’t tell you on a scale of 1 to 10 where it should rank. Just know I liked the taste.
Awesome party Doyle and Brenda. Want to thank you for such a great job.
Melanie’s Make-a-Wish event was on the 12th and 13th. She is such an asset to our club. We are very glad she chose to join us.
On the 13th we gave Good Citizenship Awards and our Dream Big key chains to Jesus Valenzuela and Halo Faulkner of Sycamore School.
Sorry that the Good News Priceless Vision event was cancelled.
Sad that the All-Star Basketball Games were cancelled. Much work was put in to this event to make it a success. It is really hard on the kids that were counting on participating, an opportunity they can’t get back.
