If you had told me 3 years ago I would be going to a PTA meeting…well “No way” would have been my reply.
Somehow we got talked into going on January 11th. Apparently, we are going to the next one also!
2017 Annual Christmas Party

Love the social events, it makes all the work during the year seem a little more precious.
Didn’t have an omelet but they did look good. The rest of the food was great. I had the gravy without the bun and it messed up the poor server’s routine. Continue reading
Bunco Party Night 2017

Once a year Bunco Party celebration was held last night. I could say something simple like a good time was had by all. But then that would be expected and boring.
So here I am again to give my observations on the evening.
The first time I was introduced to the game was back in November of 2015. Yep, this makes it my third time up to bat!
Volunteering Should Be Fun

I am a firm believer that volunteering should be fun. Somehow a begrudging attitude about helping doesn’t quite fit the picture of being of service to others.
Lions Jim, Ernie, Ron, Andy, Gary and I all went to Sycamore School to have a meeting with Principal Susanna after our Thursday breakfast.
Purpose was to find out what we could do to help continue our commitment with the adoption of Sycamore School.
Riverfront Playhouse and a Volkswagen Van

We had a super great time at the Riverfront Playhouse enjoying their production “Two on the Aisle, Three in a Van”.
The acting was great and we enjoyed the whimsical antics of the lovely lady throwing the garbage around between scenes!
