Ray Kassis
We were saddened to hear that Ray passed away July 31, 2020.
-He was a great guy! I was fortunate to be a high school counselor for some of his children. (Lupe Arness)
-It is sad. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. A great lion! (Guy Piche)
-Fifty + years perfect attendance, formerly Army/ Navy store —-free parking
Will all miss Lion Kassis (Ernie Mandere)
-He was such a great person. A devoted Lion! (Norm Overbay)
-I had the opportunity to meet Lion Ray and Sharon briefly but sweetly. I won the set of Lions drinking glass and was instructed to pick them up from their house. He was delighted that I was inheriting them and told me how he had soooo much fun in the Redding Breakfast Lions Club and would still be there every Thursday if not for his very bad back pain that wouldn’t allow him to sit comfortably for any length of time. Such a delight! He speaks so highly of the club and everyone in the club.
My heart is grateful to know he’s no longer in pain and is now jumping, skipping, and running with the angels.
He’s been so good on earth, I bet he got like an Arnold Schwarzenegger body in heaven:)
We’ll keep Sharon in thoughts and prayers.
Bless you all folks! (Ava and Allan)

-Judi and I had known the Kassis family for a longtime before I met Ray at the Redding Breakfast Lions Club. Their parents where close friends of my parents and we spent a lot of wonderful time together… We will stay in touch with Sharon. (Egon Harrasser)
