Jack Golenor

 

I was born and raised in French Gulch.  Where my family owned a grocery store, service station and later Post Office.

 

Went to grade school in French Gulch.  Attended high school at Shasta High.  Went to college at San Jose State University.

 

Married to Frankie for 62 years and have one married daughter, JoAnn.

 

Worked for US Steel for 10 years after college graduation.

 

Moved to Redding in 1965 and became a Realtor – Office owner until 2013.  Have been retired ever since.

 

We owned a houseboat on Shasta Lake for 30 years, but recently sold the boat.

 

Special interests are politics and sports.

 

Joined the Lions in 1967.  Being a Lion is very important to me.  I am passionate about helping children through the Lions Club.
