Sycamore School Flag Presentation

It has been a long time since my last post.

Today we went to Sycamore School and gave a presentation to the fifth grade class.

The event was conducted by Egon and Ernie. The rest of us helped pass out the brochures and flags to the children. Present was Andy, Egon, Ernie, Ron, Janet, Gary, and myself.

There was a flag, that we were told had been flown over the White House about 6 or 8 years ago. This flag was given to Sycamore School. I think the kids were very impressed where their new flag came from.

Egon gave a very wonderful explanation of the flag. Being Canadian, I did learn some things. Lots of information on the brochure about the order each state appeared on the flag. I always knew Alaska and Hawaii were last but did not know California was number 31.
