Installation Breakfast for 2023-2024 Club Officers

Was held at Country Waffles on Thursday July 6, 2023 at 7AM

We all had a great time with lots of laughs. Plenty of “awards”. You had to have been there to appreciate the great effort put on by both Lion John and Lion Melanie. Lots of great quotes to keep us laughing.

Lion Charlie did a great job being our 2022 – 2023 president.

Our new Lion Anthony was given his badge, with as they say, such forward thinking people in charge. His badge says “Attorney”. His goal is to be an attorney and this is a motivator, but truth be told they wanted to save the $7 of not having to put attorney on it at a later date. lol

And much deserved, Lion Melanie won Lion of the Year Award, presented to her by our new president Lion Ole. She is absolutely the best and what our club needed. We are so lucky to have her pick our club to join.

This club has come a long way with all the guest speakers we have been lucky to enjoy. I admire Lion John for his drive to motivate us and yes some of us really need some motivation. Did enjoy the visitation to Weaverville.

Some of our projects have changed over the years of our involvement, sometimes in a lesser degree of it once was. But we still serve the community and will continue to do so.
