Riverfront Playhouse and Our Night Out

Written by Mary Stephenson

What a wonderful way to hit of the Holiday Season!

Riverfront Playhouse put on a terrific play “The Man Who Came to Dinner”.  I thoroughly enjoyed it, hopefully everyone else did.

The extra added part about the “Lions Club” was a super bonus just for us.  (They told me it was not part of the script and since it worked they decided to add it.)

A very large cast of 21 people and wonderful acting done by all.  I have seen a few plays with Bob Koroluck and am amazed how many lines he has to remember.  Some folks are just born for the stage and they manage to immerse into true character.  Hats off to all that make our lives more enjoyable.  They love it and we love watching it.

A great lesson in life… do what you love to do and it will bring joy to you and others.

Having a potluck is always a great way to have a connection with everyone.  You feel like it is just one big house party.

A large variety of culinary delights and it seems by the end of the evening, desserts were one of the biggest hits!

Looking forward to the next Lions party.  December 18th Christmas Party at the Elk’s Lodge.  2016 Party over.
